Cuando se quiere, se puede

El Betis que todos queremos ver consiguió una tan merecida como importantísima victoria con un gol de Nelson a punto de acabarse el partido. Pepe Mel al fin dio con la tecla, se dejó de historias raras, y el equipo tuvo la actitud que siempre debe tener, apretando al rival con una buena presión desde el inicio del partido.

Esperemos que este nivel de juego y sobre todo actitud sea el camino de aquí en adelante de un equipo muy dado a relajarse tras las victorias pero que ha demostrado que si quiere y tiene esta actitud, puede plantar cara a cualquier equipo. Pepe Mel y todo el equipo deben ser conscientes que esta victoria son sólo tres puntos que debían haberse conseguido hace ya tiempo y que no debe cambiarse este chip para los próximos importantes partidos.

Que mal lo va a pasar el Betis

Sensaciones muy malas de un desconocido Betis que en las últimas jornadas parece querer ganar los partidos sin bajarse del autobús. Pepe Mel no ha encontrado nunca una alineación tipo y nunca se sabe lo que puede alinear en cada partido. No se comprende como jugadores que antes eran titulares indiscutibles luego ya no van ni convocados o viceversa. No se tiene nada claro el esquema de juego y ahora se vuelve otra vez a experimentar con la dupla Iriney Cañas y un sistema de bandas que no tiene ningún peligro para los contrarios...

Las últimas victorias conseguidas y la buena imagen ante equipos superiores son un auténtico espejismo de un equipo que verdaderamente se le caído a Mel con la colaboración de la mala actitud de los jugadores en los últimos partidos.Es una pena pero este equipo no pinta nada bien y con esta actitud no es para menos...

El nuevo año trae la victoria

El Betis se abona de nuevo a ganar sufriendo más de lo que algunos quisiéramos, esta vez contra un rival directo que jugó gran parte del partido con un futbolista menos. Se sufrió demasiado en una segunda parte donde el Sporting mantuvo el control del balón ante un Betis que quería sentenciar el partido a la contra a base de balones largos ,pero finalmente el equipo de Mel ,tras el parón navideño y una decepcionante eliminación copera contra el Córdoba, consiguió una victoria importante y merecida que da cierta tranquilidad.

Empezó dominando el Betis con un equipo donde Mel apostó jugando con bandas con Juanma que completó un buen partido y con un no muy acertado Montero en los centros desde la izquierda. Tras los primeros intentos fallidos de Santa Cruz y Rubén Castro, a mediados de la primera parte marcaría Santa Cruz con un gran tiro ajustado al palo. Tras una buena parada de Casto y una ocasión del Betis con un tiro al palo de Rubén Castro, el Sporting se quedaría con 10 a falta de pocos minutos para el final del primer tiempo.

Pese a dicha expulsión, el Betis nunca estuvo cómodo en el partido en una segunda parte donde el Sporting no parecía jugar en inferioridad. Pese a la nula capacidad de mantener el balón, el Betis a la contra no dejó de perdonar ocasiones muy claras a las que les faltó precisión en los metros finales. Pero el segundo llegaría como no en el descuento donde sentenció Molina que se reencuentra con el gol en liga.
